Spring Equinox - Ostara

Friday 25th September

If you feel the quiet call to pause, take stock, and enter Spring with intention — I invite you to join us for this gathering, open to any woman who feels called to step into a safe, intentional space at this mid-point between Summer and Winter Solstice.

As the daylight hours continue to increase, and we rise from the darkness, the Equinox offers a natural point of contemplation and self-assessment.

You will leave feeling:

If you’ve ever hesitated to attend a women’s circle, you’re not alone.

Many women carry subtle sisterhood wounds, comparison, exclusion, or circles that felt emotionally overwhelming.

This gathering is not that.

It is not a high-intensity workshop, and there is no expectation to share beyond what feels true for you.

This is a grounded, carefully facilitated circle for women who want thoughtful reflection, steady ritual, and meaningful connection, without chaos or emotional overwhelm.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

At the Equinox, light and dark stand equal.

Something in the air has already started to shift: a bit more light in the evenings, the ground softening, that small itch to throw the windows open and clear a few things out.

This gathering is about paying attention to that shift, and asking what it actually means for you this year.

On the yearly wheel, Spring Equinox aligns with our first bleed, our Menarche.  Tonight, we’ll spend some time exploring our first bleed, and who we were as young women when that happened. For most of us, it came and went without much said about it, no acknowledgment, nothing marked.

Tonight is a chance to go back to her,  to see her clearly, and maybe give her something she didn’t get the first time round.

Goddess Persephone also comes back up from the ‘underworld’ at this point in the wheel every year. Six months below, six months above, the same way spring turns up whether we feel ready for it or not. She represents us returning to life after Winter.

Coming back to life doesn’t have to be a big production. Sometimes it looks like small things, an appetite returning, wanting to be around people again, wanting to move your body more.

Spring is also a good time to look again at your intentions.  What’s actually wanting to grow in you over the coming months, now the weather is turning?

And just as importantly, what ‘weeds’ need pulling? If you want your harvest in Autumn, in six months time,  to be what you actually want, this is the time to deal with what’s quietly taking up space, the habits, the commitments, the people who drain more than they give. Easier to ‘pull’ them now while they’re small, than to deal with them once they’ve taken hold.

As one woman who has sat in circle with us put it, “Being in circle always seems to give me an energy that I didn’t arrive with. I can be feeling so physically spent arriving and walk away feeling so energised afterwards.”

Come mark the turning of darkness to light, honoring your body and this Earth, and leave a little more yourself than when you arrived.

What Changes When Women Sit in Circle?

Voices from Those Who Return

Attending circle consistently serves as a recalibration and reset for my nervous system. It feels like coming home. I breathe deeper, I let go, I connect within. It is a gentle place to land, every single time.

I have felt the power to take control of my life. I have been able to change my position in my own life to the creator rather than the victim. The seasonal reflections help me trust myself and act with intention.

Prior to attending circle, I used to hate Winter. Now I lean into the understanding that each season plays such an important role in the whole cycle and needs to be honoured and respected.

Many women who return to these circles want to go further, to walk with the seasons across a full year. That path exists. It's the She Awakens Journey, where women spend a year in circle, meeting the parts of themselves that have quietly kept them from their own sovereignty.
